Description

Isotretinoin (Tretiva) 30 mg capsule is a vitamin A-derived synthetic retinoid that is used in acne which has not responded to other therapies. Every capsule contains 30 mg of the active ingredient Isotretinoin.

Isotretinoin achieves its effects by reducing the size of sebum ducts and the development of sebum, thereby preventing the blockage of pores and the growth of bacteria that cause acne. This controls the proliferation and division of cells and cell death. This also improves the immune system and changes monocyte cellular responses to decrease the inflammation.
