Torsemide +Spironolactone (Dytor) 20 + 50 mg tablet is a combination of diuretics that are prescribed for the treatment of salt-retention induced edema and hypertension. Each tablet contains 20 mg of Torsemide and 50 mg of Spironolactone as its active ingredient.
Torsemide is a diuretic that functions by reducing edema and water retention by increasing urinary production, helping to minimize the risk of myocardial infarction , stroke, and kidney disorders. Spironolactone is a potassium-sparing diuretic with strong antagonistic activity against aldosterone in the distal nephron tubules, which works by increasing water and sodium secretion without interference to potassium metabolism.

How To Take
This medicine may be taken before or after food intake.
Try to take it at the same time each day. It must be taken regularly for it to be effective.

People with the following medical conditions should not take Torsemide + Spironolactone:
- Cardiac arrhythmias
- Renal failure with oliguria or anuria
- Hepatic coma and pre-coma states

- Electrolyte imbalance with hypokalemia
- Dry mouth
- Metabolic alkalosis

- Hearing loss
