Vardenafil (Vitara V 60mg) 60 mg tablet is a phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE5) inhibitor. It is an oral medication for male sexual disorders such as erectile dysfunction. This drug helps increase blood flow to the penis to achieve a sustained erection.
Vardenafil is responsible for cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) metabolism in smooth muscles. Inhibition of the PDE type 5 enzyme enables smooth muscle relaxation and increased blood flow to the corpus cavernosum of the penis during sexual stimulation, thereby creating an erection.

Vardenafil is a potent and selective enzyme inhibitor of phosphodiesterase (PDE5) that is responsible for the smooth muscle metabolism of cyclic guanosine monophosphate ( cGMP). During sexual stimulation, the inhibition of the PDE type 5 enzyme causes smooth muscle relaxation and increased blood flow into the corpus cavernosum of the penis, thus producing an erection.
Vardenafil is used to treat the following conditions:
- Erectile dysfunction
