Vardenafil (Valif) 20mg tablet is a phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE5) inhibitor. It is an oral medication for male sexual disorders such as erectile dysfunction. This drug helps increase blood flow to the penis to achieve a sustained erection.
Vardenafil is responsible for cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) metabolism in smooth muscles. Inhibition of the PDE type 5 enzyme enables smooth muscle relaxation and increased blood flow to the corpus cavernosum of the penis during sexual stimulation, thereby creating an erection.

During sexual stimulation, the inhibition of the PDE type 5 enzyme causes smooth muscle relaxation and increased blood flow into the corpus cavernosum of the penis, thus producing an erection.
Vardenafil is used to treat the following conditions:
- Erectile dysfunction
